Vinyl plank flooring or Luxury Vinyl Planks (LVP) is mostly made from PVC that mimics the looks of wood and tile. It has multiple layers in which the upper layer is made from PVC and other layers are made from foam or similar PVC material. Vinyl plank flooring is a much superior option to tiles when it comes to water resistance. Water can seep into the tiles if the grout is not properly maintained. On the other hand, the surface layer of the vinyl plank flooring is completely water-resistant.
It can last between 10 to 25 years depends on how regularly you maintain your floor.
